The summit between the UK and the EU, scheduled for July 22, was postponed after the resignation of Prime Minister Keir Starmer. President of the European Council Costa confirmed the postponement of the meeting.
Starmer was due to hold talks with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President António Costa. The parties planned to discuss cooperation in the areas of food security, energy and youth mobility as part of efforts to reset relations between London and Brussels.
