Putin adviser says Moscow will not rule out ‘semi-military action’ against manufacturers producing drones and Storm Shadow componentsя
British factories manufacturing drones for Ukraine could face targeting by “unknown sources”, a Kremlin adviser has warned, following the UK’s agreement to share long-range missile blueprints with Ukraine.
Andrei Fedorov, a former Russian deputy foreign minister, said he could not “100 per cent rule out” the possibility of “semi-military” operations targeting Britain. His comments came as Andy Burnham travelled to Kyiv.
The visit marked the Prime Minister’s first overseas trip since taking office. During the visit, the UK reaffirmed its “unwavering” commitment to Ukraine, which in turn provided what officials described as a “goldmine” of battlefield data to help strengthen British security.
Speaking to BBC Newsnight, Fedorov said: “Sooner or later, there might be not only a verbal, but perhaps some visible reaction from Russia towards the UK.”
