Elon Musk is projected to become the world’s first trillionaire by 2027, according to a new analysis by Informa Connect Academy.

The finding, part of the academy’s 2024 Trillion Dollar Club report, is based on Musk’s wealth growing at an average annual rate of 110%. The report, which began circulating on Friday, highlights the rapid wealth accumulation of leading global billionaires amid expanding technology and infrastructure sectors.

Indian business conglomerate founder Gautam Adani is expected to become the second trillionaire in 2028, assuming his current annual growth rate of 123% continues.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and Indonesian energy and mining magnate Prajogo Pangestu are also projected to potentially reach trillionaire status in the same year.LVMH chairman Bernard Arnault, currently the world’s third-richest person with approximately $200 billion, and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg are both on track to achieve trillionaire status in 2030, the analysis suggests.

The projections are based on current wealth trajectories and do not account for potential market volatility, regulatory changes, or major economic shifts that could alter these timelines.
