Since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the UK has allocated £21.8 billion in aid to Kyiv

According to official UK government data, the UK has allocated and committed up to £21.8 billion in total support to Ukraine since February 2022. This amount includes both military and non-military aid.

The main components of the support package (as of March 2026):

Military aid – approximately £13 billion, including:

£10.8 billion in direct military support already allocated (including £3 billion annually until the 2030–31 financial year);

£2.26 billion under the G7 Extraordinary Revenue Acceleration Loans (ERA) program to use proceeds from frozen Russian assets, a significant portion of which has already been transferred to Ukraine.

Non-military aid – over £5.3 billion, including financial, humanitarian, energy support, assistance in restoring the energy grid, economic stabilization, and other areas.

The UK remains one of the largest donors to Ukraine after the United States, consistently ranking second in military aid among individual countries. In 2025, London allocated a record £4.5 billion in military support, and this year it continues to provide multi-billion pound packages, including funds for air defense enhancements, weapons procurement through the PURL initiative, and direct supplies of equipment and ammunition.
